Symbiosis of Emotional Design and Nordic Precision

The first significant design solution in Il Bagno Alessi was born in collaboration with Italian architect and designer Stefano Giovannoni in 2002, introducing a completely new approach to bathroom culture. Inspired by psychoanalyst Franco Fornari’s theory of emotions, they created sanitary ceramics with a round and soft shape expressing health, care, relaxation, and rejuvenation. One of the results of this collaboration was a unique floor-standing pedestal washbasin, reflecting Laufen’s commitment to innovation and design quality.
